Construction began earlier this week on westbound I-94 near Medora. Work consists of reconstruction of the westbound lanes from Medora west approximately 13 miles. During construction:
· The westbound and eastbound roadways will be reduced to one lane until mid-May at which time the westbound lanes will be closed and traffic will be head-to-head in the eastbound lanes.
· Speeds will be reduced.
The westbound roadway is expected to be re-opened to traffic in late fall of 2016.
