Following a season of personal bests and shattered school records four Bowman County boys wanted to push themselves even further.
An extra burst of motivation and dedication to their sport led the 3,200-meter boys relay team — Cole Osendorf, Brayden Miller, Alex Madrigal and Alex Bartholomay — to a second-place finish at the Class B State Tournament last week.
It was the final state meet to run for three of the boys, who had already broken multiple school records at the regular season meets.
But it was time for one more in Bismarck as the relay team finished their event in 8 minutes, 20.27 seconds, setting yet another school record.
