Visitation for Arlo was from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016 at the Krebsbach Funeral Home Chapel in Bowman.
Arlo Kenneth Vesey was born in Dickinson on June 26, 2006, and left this earth Aug. 2, 2016, while doing what he loved, working on the ranch.
He will spend eternity ranching in greener pastures mounted on his favorite horse Whiskey, with his favorite dog Flower by his side.
Arlo spent his entire life on the family ranch in Billings County and would have been a fifth grader at Prairie Elementary in Fairfield in a few weeks.
Arlo was interested in everything and was busy chasing his dreams and learning new things every day.
Arlo knew someone everywhere he went and was also ready for a practical joke, wrestling match, football game, or just conversation.
In his short life, Arlo graduated from a toddler’s obsession with dinosaurs to a young man’s drive to be the best at everything he did.
He loved to read, build Legos, shoot his bow and gun, ride horse, weld, and work on the ranch. He made many friends showing livestock in 4-H and found a fit for his gift of gab in livestock judging. He mastered the art of raking hay over the summer and got his first turn at baling before his death. He liked nothing better than spending the day fencing with his heroes Seth Obritsch and Wyatt Fulton. He crossed one final item off of his list with a helicopter ride in his final hours.
Arlo is leaves behind his parents Joe and Emily (Lambourn) Vesey, sister Morgan, and brother Ian at the ranch.
He is also survived by grandparents Roger and Darlene Vesey and Larry and Jackie Lambourn; great grandparents Ken and Phyllis Vesey, Frances Snyder, and Lil Richter; aunts and uncles Kyle and Peggy Bauer, Matt and Nicole Lambourn, and Pam and Les Jacobs; and cousins Ally and Alexis Bauer, Bailey McLaughlin, Mason and Jake Lambourn, Beau Lambourn, and Shayla, Piper, and Aspen Jacobs; honorary grandparents, Bill and Lana Obrien; as well as numerous extended family, friends, classmates, and a loving community.
He joins great grandparents Wes Snyder, Burke and Myrtle Lambourn, and Silas and Christine Vooge; and uncle Andy Lambourn for eternity.
Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Services was in charge of the arrangements.
