Pioneer Trails Regional Museum is excited to announce the purchase of the ST Imaging VeiwScan III and the ST Imaging ST600 Book Scanner, thanks to generous donations from Myron Olson and The Wanzek Family Foundation.
The software is easy-to-use and allows researchers access to multiple forms of media. The ViewScan has a true 14 megapixel camera that creates crisp and clear images of microfilm, microfiche, and even color slides. The ST600 Book Scanner offers a fast and non-destructive way to make copies of books, magazines, photographs, and documents.
PTRM is thrilled to share this new equipment with the public, so be sure to stop down for a demonstration or to do some research.
The museum is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May through September, and Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. October through April.
