Branden Robert Evert, 17, passed away on Aug. 9 in Beach due to injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Branden was born on Sept. 1, 1998 in Polson, Mont., the son of Larry Smith and Tammy Evert. Branden would say that Bowman was his home but had lived in different towns and attended different schools throughout his life. Branden’s hope was to enter in the North Dakota Job Corps in Minot and focus on mechanics. Branden had a love of cars, and a special desire to one day own a Ford Bronco. He was known as “Mr. Fix-it” and loved to take things apart just to put them back together. He enjoyed being outside, building forts when he was young and as he got older he enjoyed spending time at the lake. He loved animals, especially dogs. Branden will be remembered by those close to him by his huge heart and his contagious smile.
Branden is survived by his parents, Larry Smith and Tammy Evert, step-parents, Margret and Chip Pewitt, siblings, Zac Cummings, Steven Sunderlin, Schae Sunderlin, Johnnie Pewitt, Lucas Pewitt, Haley Evert, Austin and Lita Wright, Dylan, Jasmine and William Shaffer, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
A Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 22 at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Home Chapel.
