Quentin ‘Clyde’ Stilwell, 75

 

Quentin A. “Clyde” Stilwell, 59, of Rhame passed away on Sept. 17, 2016 at his home in Rhame.

Memorial Services for Clyde were at 1 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Rhame American Legion. Burial will take place at a later date in the Wilton Cemetery.

Quentin A. Clyde Stilwell was born on Sept. 27, 1956 in Minot, the son of Charles and Bernadine Stilwell. He was raised in the Turtle Lake area and he also graduated from Turtle Lake High School. After completing high school, Clyde then moved down to Texas for a couple years for work until returning home to North Dakota to work in the oil fields. In 1983, Clyde was united in marriage to Tootie Fischer and to this Union a son, Brandyn was born. Clyde eventually moved to Rhame where he worked for Trace Wiffler on the Wiffler Ranch. Clyde also bar tended at the Waterhole Bar where he enjoyed his visits with the customers and playing pranks on several of them and even picking on them a bit. Clyde had a heart of Gold and loved time with his grandchildren. Clyde is survived by his spouse, Laurie Barnes; Children, Brandyn Stilwell, Steven Haldorson, Shawn Barnes, Pepper Barnes (David Jr. Olsen), Sugar Barnes (Lonnie Davis) and grandchildren; Isabelle “Twerppie” Barnes, Jayden Olsen, Josiah Davis and Aries Haldorson; siblings, David (Jackie), Tom (Terri), Gladys (Mike), Danny (Angie) and Bernice (Ken). He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Bernadine and grandparents, David (Ella) Riebe. Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Services in charge of the arrangements.
