Caroline B. Woodley

Caroline B. Woodley, 73, Bowman, ND died Wednesday night, February 26, 2020 at CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck Medical Center.  A family and friends service will be held Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 7:00 pm at St. Charles Catholic Church, Bowman, ND.  Funeral services are schedule for Monday, March 2, 2020 at 10:00 am at St. Charles Catholic Church with burial to follow in the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery.  Father Paul Eberle will officiate.  

 Caroline was born June 8, 1946 in Anaconda, MT, the daughter of Ralph and Alvina (Musil) Olson.  She moved to the family farm near Bowman when she was 8 and later to Bowman where she attended and graduated from Bowman High School.  After high school, Caroline moved to San Francisco and lived with her sister for a short time.  Caroline returned to Bowman where she worked various jobs including working in the advertising and printing businesses with her family.  

 Caroline married Roger Woodley December 28, 1972.  They raised their three children in Bowman.  Caroline spent the early years of their marriage taking care of kids and building a home before entering the workforce.  She enjoyed camping, playing games, doing puzzles, watching football, bowling and most importantly spending time with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.  She spent her entire life feeding family and friends and even strangers at her dinner table.  

 Caroline was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters.  

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, her parents, Ralph and Alvina, two sisters, Lorraine Bishop and Angeline Rubinstein, and one sister-in-law, Rita Woodley.  Survivors include her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildrenDavid and Stephanie, Nicholas, Dillon, Devon, and Grace Woodley, Sioux Falls, SD, Bonnie and Terry Mrnak, Brittany and Jorge, Julien, Alayna, and Everly Riquelme, Ashley and Jace Schmalz, Cole, Shelby, and Clay Schmalz, Bowman, ND, Michael and Emily, Rachel, Ryan, Jenna, and Evan Woodley, Jamestown, ND, five brothers-in-law Seth and Mary Bishop, Lynnwood, WA, Larry Rubinstein, Half Moon Bay, CA, Kenneth and Verna Woodley, Bowman, ND, Erne Woodley, Albuquerque, NM, Delbert and Alice Woodley, Haynes, ND and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
