Rhame was hit by a cloudburst Saturday afternoon as the nearby Rhame rodeo was winding down.

A series of thunderstorms rolled through southwestern North Dakota, something that is being forecast for the rest of the week, along with high summer temperatures earlier. 

But at the nearby arena, the rodeo had just moved to the Calcutta when the storm brought heavy rain and sent spectators and competitors scrambling.
