The Bowman County drive for a berth in the state basketball tournament ended Tuesday with a 59-37 loss to the Dickinson Trinity Titans in the Region 7 semifinals at Knights of Columbus Activity Center.

The loss dropped the Bulldogs into the third place game Thursday at 5 p.m. against Hazen.

The Titans will play top seed Beulah in the title game after the end of the Bulldog-Bison battle for third.

Beulah, the top seed in the tournament, held off Hazen for a narrow 74-68 victory Tuesday in the other semifinal.

The winner of the Beulah-Titan battle will have a berth in the state basketball tournament.
